Life Behind the Camera

I am studying photojournalism at Columbia College Chicago with one year of classes remaining. After working as a freelance photographer for local publications since graduating high school, I have broadened my skill set to include photo editing and have gained experience with Getty Images and USA Today Sports Images in addition to my fall 2014 internship with the Miami Herald.

In fall 2013 I held the position of Senior Photo Editor at my college's newspaper, The Columbia Chronicle. I frequently shoot sports for Getty Images, USA Today Sports Images (as well as the picture desk), the Chicago Tribune publications, The Northshore Weekend magazine as well as the triple crown horse races and Chicagoland horse racing for Eclipse Sportswire.

I am a member of the National Press Photographer Association (NPPA), Illinois Press Photographer Association (IPPA), and was on the Pink Team at The Eddie Adams Workshop XVI.
